Abstract: "I explore formal relationships in my paintings that are derived from both the physical nature of the paint and my ever-changing experience with the physical world. Arrangements of material objects that define my personal spaces permeate my consciousness as I work. Surface, color, and a sense of movement are some of my primary concerns, as well as the shifts in perception that occur between the flat, physical surface of the canvas and an illusionistic space."--Abstract from author supplied metadata.
