Carol E. Steger

Carol E. Steger (MA, University of North Carolina, Greensboro, 2004) is a Lecturer in the Communication Department at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. Her work has focused on relationships, community, conflict resolution, and dialogue. She has done extensive research on the communication strategies concerning both the Greensboro Truth and Community Reconciliation Project and the historical context and issues surrounding the events of 1979 in Greensboro, North Carolina. As author of the booklet, A Call for Dialogue: Greensboro, North Carolinas Opportunity to Move toward Wholeness, she is a co-recipient of a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro for the A Call for Dialogue Project which provided free workshops on dialogue to all interested citizens of Greensboro, NC. She has been a resident of Greensboro for the past 25 years.
