Alysia Y. Blandon

Dr. Alysia Blandon received her B.A. in Psychology from Colorodo College. She received her M.A. and Ph.D in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Blandon is currently a postdoctoral fellow for an NIMH funded longitudinal grant entitled Developmental Trajectories of Early Behavior Problems. Her research interests are in studying how family processes shape children's early social and emotional development. Dr. Blandon is particularly interested in exploring the interactive influences of contextual, child, and family factors on the development of children's self-regulation (physiological, emotional, and behavioral) across early childhood.
