Samayah Ellerbe, originally from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is currently pursuing her studies in vocal performance at Elizabeth City State University under the guidance of Dr. Walter R. Swan. During her time at the university, Samayah has consistently contributed her talents, brightened the environment with her smiles, and introduced innovative ideas. As she continues her undergraduate journey, she is expected to bring even more to the university community. A graduate of Frederick Douglass High School in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Samayah played a significant role in the school choir for three years, participating in various travel performances. Her Choir Director, Marilyn Walls, has been a source of motivation and encouragement, inspiring her to excel in her endeavors. Looking ahead, Samayah aims to earn a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance.
