Robin P Cunningham
Born in Washington, D.C. grew up in Silver Spring, MD. Attended college and graduate school at East Carolina University. Relocated to NC after college to begin staff nursing at Duke University Medical Center. Worked in Home Health Nursing in rural Edgecombe and Nash counties. Began teaching in 1980 and working on MSN degree. Received MSN in 1982 and relocated to MD. Continued staff nursing and teaching through 1988. Relocated to Greensboro, NC in 1989 and began legal nurse consulting. Also began teaching again in 1992 at Guilford Technical Community College. Worked in pain management for 3 years before starting at UNCG in 2004. I continue to work in staff nursing clinical practice as well as legal consulting along with full time teaching at the undergraduate level. I enjoy yoga, walking and reading along with travel.
