Rebecca Baugnon

Rebecca A Baugnon is a library specialist in Randall Library’s Special Collections department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). She holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from UNCW and a master’s degree in library and information science from Pratt Institute. She interned for Columbia University, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the New York City Fire Museum and was a project assistant for the grant funded Cape Fearians digitization project in the North Carolina Room at New Hanover County Public Library. She joined Randall Library in 2013 and has led several digital projects and initiatives in the Special Collections department. She has collaborated with colleagues on digital projects including the Cape Fear Surfing Archive, the Rotary Club Trading Banners collection, and Randall Library’s Oral History collection. She recently became a member of the Digital Initiatives Advisory Committee and looks forward to further developing the Randall Library’s digital initiatives program.
