Abstract: To evaluate the effects of anxiety on alpha enhancement, 30 subjects were divided into high and low trait anxious groups and 27 of those 30 into high and low state anxious groups. The measures of trait and state anxiety were the Taylor Anxiety Scale and the Zuckerman Multiple Affect Adjective Checklist respectively.
