Abstract: The relationship between the spiral aftereffect (SAE) and electroencephalograms (EEG) of an adult population was evaluated. The spiral aftereffect test (SAET) was administered to two groups of patients -- 20 with abnormal EEGs and 20 with normal EEGs. The results indicated all patients reported SAE. It was concluded that the SAET failed to discriminate between adult patients with abnormal EEGs and adult patients with normal EEGs.
