Abstract: Phoenix Mountain is located in the Blue Ridge Province of North Carolina. A catalog of the vascular flora, including 440 species and 86 families, is provided. A vegetational analysis was done at six sites to quantitatively determine the canopy dominants of forests on Phoenix Mountain . . . The flora on Phoenix Mountain compares favorably with those on other mountains in the Southern Appalachians.
