Abstract: Empirical evaluation of "Clinic," a computer program dealing with classical diagnostic labeling, was attempted. The study attempted to evaluate "Clinic's" twenty-five case library on two criteria: 1). diagnostic evaluation of each case, and 2). the correct ordering of the clues contained in each case . . . Conclusions tend to support the overall reliability of "Clinic" and will serve as pilot data for further investigation.
