Abstract: The purpose of this study is (1) to point out the educational values of communications media with special emphasis on the newer media; (2) to trace their growth and development in selected countries and to determine to what extent they are being used in these countries and for what specific purposes; and (3) to study different programs in the United States of America with the idea of proposing a similar program for British Guiana.
