Abstract: Three related purposes provided the problem for investigation in this study: (1) to demonstrate the use of a validation technique in which game results were used as the criterion, (2) to construct a test for equating teams which is economical and easy to administer, and (3) to measure improvement of basketball playing fundamentals.
