Abstract: Because of the lack of compiled material denoting the emphasis Hitler placed on physical education, and because of the interest in the Federal Republic of Germany, it is the purpose of this study to compile and to show the role that physical education played in the building of the Nazis, and the role it is now playing in the building of future citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany.
