Dr. Jennifer Luetkemeyer

RECAPP 2019 and RECAPP 2020 Award Winner. Dr. Luetkemeyer teaches courses related to school librarianship, as well as core librarianship courses. She is interested in the ways that students access information and knowledge, in what resources and information they have access to, and in how information and knowledge are presented to them. Dr. Luetkemeyer is also interested in the role of creativity in pedagogy and practice. The fundamental principle that all students deserve, and should be provided with, equal access to information, knowledge, and resources guides her work. Dr. Luetkemeyer received her MLS from Florida State University, followed by her Ph.D in Information. She joined the Library Science faculty at Appalachian State University in Fall 2016.
