Abstract: In this column of Serial Conversations, Kate Hill interviews Sarah Sutton, assistant professor of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University and a main developer of the NASIG core competencies. In this interview, Sutton discusses her previous research concerning electronic resource and serials education, how she views the current state of education, and what the future might hold. She also discusses her views on the role of Master of Library Science (MLS) education versus continuing education and her role in developing the NASIG core competencies.
