Linda Johanson

Dr. Johanson has published several manuscripts in scholarly journals, and has presented research both nationally and internationally. Her research interest is nursing education, and she has been the recipient of several teaching awards including the Bost Distinguished Professor Award (2008) and the UNCC Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award (2001). Dr. Johanson has also been a regular participant of medical mission work since 1997 having traveled to Russia, Honduras, Mexico, Uganda, Myanmar, Guatemala, and the Philippines. She is also an avid distance runner, reader of fiction, and enjoys going to theater.
