Dr. William Stewart Thomas is the Associate Dean of the School of Business, University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). Dr. Thomas earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina — Chapel Hill, his masters at Campbell University, and his doctorate at Capella University. He joined UNCP in 2001 following an 18 year career in industry, working the majority of that period for Eaton Corporation as Core Business Controller over North American and European operations. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at ZF Mentor, LLC. Dr. Thomas is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina. His areas of research include Enterprise Resource Planning, Information Systems, and Financial Accounting Pedagogy.
