Abstract: Are public–private partnerships an appropriate means of dealing with underdeveloped cybersecurity-related institutions in India? Whereas the government lacks the resources and expertise to develop new templates, monitor industry behaviors, and enforce laws, trade associations are likely to have more experience and well-focused priorities in these areas.
