Abstract: There is evidence to suggest that all numerical formats are not processed by the same internal analog representation. The multiple analog representation models of numerical processing propose that there are individual analog representations per numerical format. Our research has expanded on these models in assessing whether there are multiple analog representations within a single numerical format. The data suggest that relative frequencies in fact do involve multiple internal quantity representations.
