Andrew M. Mayfield is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of North Carolina. He has over 12 years of field-related experience and has worked in a variety of settings including a counseling clinic, residential children’s home, private hospital, and university. He currently serves as Research Associate/Associate Project Manager for a National Institute of Mental Health funded longitudinal research grant. The primary focus of this project is to track the psychological well-being and development of adolescents following their discharge from a psychiatric hospital. He has been working with this project since 2004 and is a skilled clinical interviewer and diagnostician.
