Abstract: Health promotion or "Wellness" programs have been identified as a means of promoting positive behavior change in the general population, and have become an increasingly attractive value-added benefit in settings such as the worksite, medical and community centers, and universities. As such, one of the most consistently popular choices to effect positive behavior change strategies into a persons lifestyle are weight loss programs.
