Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the preservation of topological properties under lattice isomorphisms. The idea of using the usual lattice structure on topologies was originated by Birkhoff in [1], and has been studied by Thron in [2], [6], and [7] and by Kerstan in [5]. The idea of similarity was first introduced by Goolsby in [4], and many of the ideas of this thesis originated in that paper. The ideas in Chapter V were originated by the author, and answered the two questions in [4]. The author assumes a working knowledge of set theory, and, in particular, the well-ordering property. The reader is referred to [1], [3] and [7] for definitions and results not covered in this thesis.
