Abstract: This study critically evaluates thirty-four litigations that were tried in the County, State and Federal Courts involving the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The evaluation of the litigation is based on the decisions of the courts. It is the judge's decision to uphold the constitutionality of the rules of the Association or to find these rules in violations of the Federal laws of the United States.
