Abstract: In this collection of poetry I have attempted to deal with the problem of human loneliness and alienation as experienced by a number of characters who might be best described as outcasts, existing as disoriented aliens in unfamiliar landscapes; living among strangers. The theme of exile and the plight of the unreconciled outsider is the prevailing motif throughout the collection, hopefully tying it together as a whole. In these poems I have tried to explore what I consider one of the most basic traumas of the human experience.
