Abstract: The present investigation was concerned with the study of menarche and its relation to demographic factors and religious awakening. The source of information about menarche was also considered. Five hypotheses were postulated. They are as follows: 1. There is no difference between the age of menarche and the climatic conditions in which the girls were reared. 2. There is no difference between the age of menarche and the seasonal rhythm. 3. There is no difference between the age of menarche and the places of residence of the girls. 4. There is no relationship between the parents as sources of information received by the girls about menstruation and the persons as the source influencing conversion. 5. There is no relationship between the age of the girls1 conversion and their age of menarche.
