Abstract: Using research discovered in a literature review and a market survey, elements to establish bourbon as a luxury product were determined. Also investigated was how to market bourbon as a luxury product and how to design a space that would reflect this luxury standing. Results indicated that creation of an atmosphere providing a memorable experience could be established through luxury finishes and furnishings and the inclusion of such elements as cigar bars, private tasting rooms, and high-end restaurants.
