Abstract: Rhythmatical was designed to be an educational application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that conveyed mathematical topics via musical, rhythmic, or movement interactive techniques. Created by a team of professors, a librarian, students, and members of the game development industry, this iPhone and iPod Touch application connects music and math for fourth- to eighth-grade students. This article describes the history of the application and the creation of the new deliverable and gives insights into new ideas for the future.
