Abstract: Presentation slides; A method of treating asthma in a subject in need of such treatment comprises contacting Interleukin-8 or an active fragment thereof to the respiratory epithelium of the subject. The active agent is preferably human endothelial IL-8, and is preferably contacted to the subject's respiratory epithelium by causing the subject to inhale respirable particles comprised of the active agent.
