Gary N. Lowell

Gary Lowell began teaching at UNCG in 2000. He comes to us from broadcast television where he was a director and lighting director. Gary directed The Good Morning Show, the oldest running, highest rated local morning show in the country. Gary’s work has won Addy Awards for directing and a local Emmy for lighting. His recent ’how to’ DVD was presented with the 2009 Aegis Award for production. Gary’s proudest moment was receiving the Faculty of the Year award in 2008. Gary lives in Greensboro with his wife Sarah and son Aaron. Gary also enjoys sailing and building wooden boats.
