Abstract: The authors report the results of a study of no-fault insurance premiums. They conclude that premiums are no higher in fault states than in no-fault states. They suggest that it is not clear whether no-fault is "less costly" as proponents claim, and argue that the abrogation of tort rights should be weighed against any purported cost savings.
